On April 1, 2024, Portland Bolt embarked on a 41,000-square-foot expansion to the Portland, Oregon, manufacturing facility. The expansion from 96,000 square feet to 137,000 square feet will allow us to add new equipment and capabilities to our existing manufacturing and hot-dip galvanizing operation. 

The additional space will be filled with equipment that will enhance our current manufacturing capabilities. The first investment was a Messer Plasma Table capable of processing plates up to 1-1/2” thick. Future equipment additions and new capabilities will be announced in our bimonthly newsletter.

The finished goods warehouse will be relocated to the new addition, increase in size by 40%, and add eight loading dock doors.
