Since 1912, Portland Bolt has been called on to help in all manner of construction projects. In the fall of 2018, Portland Bolt delivered over 900 pieces of high strength, galvanized all thread rod and coupling nuts for the Nipawin Bridge Rehabilitation project in Nipawin, Saskatchewan, Canada. The bridge is a double-decker bridge, with the top deck used for rail traffic and the bottom for automotive.
Portland Bolt supplied domestically manufactured SAE Grade 5 all thread rod in 1” and 1-1/2” diameters, as well as matching heavy hex coupling nuts. With our in-house hot-dip galvanizing line, new HYDMECH band saws and each labor operation tracked, Portland Bolt was able to deliver on time.
If your project calls for galvanized parts, give one of our experienced estimators a call and we’ll be happy to help.
