Honolulu, HI, United States
The City of Honolulu needed to upgrade the radio communication tower used by police, fire, and ambulance services. The original tower was over 50 years old. When the 2-1/2″ diameter anchor bolts were poured too low, the contractor needed a quick fix so the project would not be delayed. The project engineer recommended Portland Bolt. We were able to ship out 2-1/2″ x 20″ galvanized F1554 grade 55 all thread rod along with 2-1/2″ x 7-1/2″ galvanized A563 grade DH coupling nuts in 3 weeks keeping the project on schedule.
