The new Westpoint Marina in Redwood City, CA will feature 401 full service slips. Westpoint is the newest marina on the San Francisco Bay.
In the spring of 2014, Portland Bolt was selected to manufacture the rods for the floating docks for this project. As is the case with most marina projects, all of the rods were hot-dip galvanized, a process which is done here in our facility. In total, Portland Bolt provided over 2,100 3/4” galvanized rods, ranging in length from 4 feet to 15 feet.
With our ability to roll thread diameters from 1/2” up to 1”, and our in-house galvanizing capabilities, Portland Bolt is an excellent option for bolts in marine environments.
